I feel like rasputin JUST predicted the future and realized mc would say no. However i doubt rasputin is good at fighting so mc could easily kill him. So he foresaw that happening and decided it’d be better to send mc home and kill him. Because when they came here anya and mc talked about how you can run or fly in a 1 kilometer radius of the castle. So they wouldve attacked mc, although that it literally just my theory
