She screwed up quite badly. Just say you still like him instead of power tripping. Other’s true personality will show when you’re in a moment of weakness. I understand that she was trying to force a connection, but the way she did so was quite crass. If it worked this time it would work again in the future. It would be an abusive relationship. MC was right to walk away.
