I never said it before and I’ll say it again – this author (MC) was actually genius with his plot twist. And I would be amongst first fans of his to defend him if he explained the point of the whole story after finishing it, or in the pinned comment under the last chapter. He probably didn’t, he ended up in his own character right after reading reactions to the last chapter. Even then I’d probably get chills out of that ending and congratulate the author if he left hints to the “main character” being evil throughout the story.
The whole idea of making the whole story centred about one main topic (corruption of people in power in this case) to me is a sign of good storytelling. It is great when your story has a specific theme or morale to it.
