So his mother’s stepmother (his grandfather’s second wife) framed grandfather as a spy after he got her daughter ( not related to grandfather) registered as his daughter, and stole his inheritance? Leaving MC’s mom without a dime.
That’s what I think happened, but I’m not too sure. There seemed to be something about the stepmom opening a café too, and the MC avoiding that area of the city because of that.
Overall, really heinous and ungrateful stuff. Greedy bastards.
