If that wasn’t him telling her the truth at the end of this chapter I’m dropping this.
MC has absolutely no reason to trust his “brother”, who he admits he never had a great relationship with, won’t simply kill him and “their” father out of revenge. But he still seems to not care that he knows, while wanting to keep the truth from the girl who has been nothing but a close friend to him since they met in the training room!!
Like for all that MC likes to hype themselves up as an adult among adults, looking down on everyone younger than their former age, he makes the most moronic choices and decisions possible.
The actual teenagers of the story I trust far more than I do MC.
i almost thought it was gonna be that kind of cliché where he dosen’t tell her and when she figure out she gets really angry and sad. Ig not.
