This is where Manhuas generally get it wrong.
They always faceslap at every single moment.
At every moment the MC is always more powerful.
There is no variation or build-up iin the story and pay-off.
However, if they had more nuance… and patience… then instead of this being an unsurprising (and ultimately boring) action sequence…
If the MC had been more subtle and then just suddenly wiped them all out then the pay-off would have been much more “Daredevil corridor fight” than this actually was.
Instead, this was a predictable and forgettable fight.
Make that D ranker a cripple he actually thought about harming his cute little sister when he said “there’s no cameras here we are gonna have fun”how dare he nevermind mc you can kill him and i won’t feel bad about it
Listening to rip and tear while reading this chapter was a good choice
The earbuds are pretty good quality for them to block out that much
