Nah they just can’t do one solid chapter without flashbacks. We already have seen too much depression of what the kids went trough so there is no need to show more for the video recording also.
Also this cosine that is just year or few years older already thinks he is like old man that the mc is just a student and so strong. Well being a loser that get some power don’t make them strong to look down on others cause they are not doing the work to get stronger on their own as they have no motivation for it
