lolol…..while i may be coming back a year long break from manga/manhwa/manhua, i can still vividly remember this story (and how much i enjoyed most of the story)

I especially remember the most recent arcs becoming a muddled pile of dog poo

Here’s the big reveal and its basically on speed run.

The difference between something like this and how Solo Leveling’s (big) reveal happened showcases the disparity between rushed pacing and well fleshed out narrative with great pacing.

(I dont mean to glaze Solo Leveling, it objectively had a great reveal template and pacing, narrative and dialogue. The artistic expression during the reveal, etc, all of it really came together to make a very satisfying reveal.

I also use Solo Leveling as an example because its same studio)

Imo, this story has plateau’d. This is ironic because it should have been the best cour of the story, considering these present arcs are the main climax of the entire story.

This chapter being the “big reveal” of Iris’s perspective during MCs long imprisonment. And yet what we’re left with is this dog poo tier reveal.
