Hm, the girl doesn’t seem that bad of a heroine for the story, but she’s not amazing either. I guess she feels a bit lack luster compared to the mc’s character. Maybe they’ll give her more development to her personality in the future that’ll make it more enrapturing than a random average girl who befriends op 4K year old mage. This chapter does give some hope as she did the technique right, and also in the previous chapter she saw the guy’s real form behind Frey’s body.
