An actual conflicting view in a retrained somewhat civil conversation in a piece of manga is rare. When have you ever read something that the mc convince a perpetrator through speech? But manages to get them to agree to disagree and by the power of friendship or some bs just for the plot’s sake. This manga addresses real social and societal problems in a beautiful and well-thought-out way.

This chapter was a wild ride. A really good effort at tackling a believable issue in a mature way. I like how they showed her internal struggle and didn’t just gloss over it like most poorly written antagonist characters in mangas these days.

Religion is created by man, thus you could decide that the beliefs, the stories, the morals, the rules, are just baseless constructs. That is not the case. Why would anyone create all that without need, use, or aim? No, those things exist because they benefit either the individual, society, the religion, or its leaders. Every bit, every story, moral, rule serves a purpose.
People who disregard religion due to their ignorance of that purpose, are frankly worse people than people who follow a religion despite their ignorance of that purpose, if only because they don’t consider themselves smarter for their ignorance.
