Why is rice porridge something to be impressed about? It’s what sick and poor people eat. Literally, it’s just rice grains and water in about a 1:8 ratio cooked in a pot or rice cooker.
Rice ? is great as a staple food that goes well with almost anything and is something I can eat by itself, so I understand. I can’t really hold plain rice porridge down very well, so I normally eat it with other stuff like fermented tofu or pickled radishes/plums.
But the last time I read about an irrational interest in porridge is from The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor. (The Grass Porridge Cult that player Weed unintentionally created)
