I’m just gonna point out the obvious… small arms fire (Glock 17, if my eyes are not deceiving me) was able to dent and even penetrate his armor. Even if that was close range, it still caused damage.

NOW… that looks like an M134 Minigun with 7.62×51mm NATO rounds. With a muzzle velocity of 853 m/s, generally around 4000 rpm and a maximum firing range of 1 km, I’d say that’s an overkill. That is the gun you use, when you’re like “do you see that? well I don’t want to.” or when you’re pointing at a direction and ask kindly “erase everything in that general direction”.

I on the other hand would have re-summoned my trusty shotgun and used buckshot or slug ammo on him due to the (now) increased distance… I mean… if you can deal with it by only shooting 10 slugs instead of a 1000 rounds of 7.62 (that’s like shooting continuously for 15 secs), it might be a lot more cost effective…

No. This manga doesn’t make me look up interesting facts about guns and whatnots… not at all have I checked wiki-P for details on the M134, nor have I looked up shotgun shells and yes, I have not even mentioned the exotic shells like dragon’s breath, which could make him look like someone who “tamed the breath of a raging dragon” in that fantasy setting… if you think so, you are quite mistaken.
