Eileen is doing her job killing monsters in front of her … and doing nothing about the monsters surrounding the villa, cities, and villages. Pure misdirection of blame.
Why don’t they just dig under the gate, then they aren’t opening or destroying it? They can just backfill it when the people are inside.
