Dude is bullied, belittled and insulted with prejudice and bias
And he does that same thing to the Elf.
After dealing with his bullies all “noble like” and being the predictable shounen male lead, its very out of character for him to blurt out that prejudice. Even if he’s just ignorantly following propaganda he was taught.
