Orcs ? they are losing to lowly orcs? they are just above goblins though, the author should have chosen smt else, as orcs are not that much of a strong army in fantasy stories often

even if they didn’t know from the fact communications being cutoff, they would’ve sensed the not so right energy coming from the castle from a mile away, not to talk about foot prints (could not have been covered entirely in couple hours) and all other traces of a fight.
