I feel bad when a good character lost but its a war so nothing Roman can do. If prince ask help to Roman so I think he help him to solve his country problem some way

why the hell did mc keep the prince alive… like, he literally had his sword on his neck and next thing he attacks some goons that were 10 meters away. and somehow the goons slip through him and get the prince…
yeah lots of people can appear right in front of him out of no where faster than he can swing his blade, makes total sense.

so why did MC let the enemy prince live? he could have killed him when he placed his sword on his shoulder instead of just talking. we know that MC has no issue killing anyone so its clear that MC LET him get away, the question is why?
