It is always a wired start when someone go back in time because it is always a wonder if your other self is still around or not
Good start in my opinion. Hope it becomes special tho and not some everyday “becoming a duke that wants revenge” story.

my theory : by some way i don’t know of he possessed that body with his conciousness , but his body is now the next monarch of the underworld . so that’s why he didn’t hear anything about an apprentice

First thing.. why is it betrayal if he’d become the demon lord it’s only natural to kill him then and there, isn’t it? As a hero he should’ve ended himself then and there…

Oh wow the first half chapter is sooo bad in multiple levels feels like author did it with intention to cut their reader’s head in half

By that dude’s logic he also became a demon after killing mc since mc apparently became one after killing the demon lord
