If you actually read the story not just the seggs, the enemy in this chapter calling ceres a demon, and at the chapter where ceres died after fighting the black dragon he dreamed that he meets his parents and when he left two oni prostrate before him and said that they’re sorry that they did mistake said something like “ruler of the under world”. Which mean he is indeed demon or half demon half dragon or something like that
