Many of the Greek gods, had a couple general roles, Athena was more a craftsmen, judge and strategist. More a logisticain, than a warrior god.
Hestia is the Goddess of domestic life. IE home, family, community, and thus to a lesser degree, architecture and the state. As the macro community, state and society,resolve around the micro community, family and neighbors. The hearth(fireplace) is the heart of the home.
Artemis is the goddess of the hunt, and secondarily the goddess of the wilds, as she is crazy, petty and practically lives by survival of the fittest. Moon? Fertility, no! Well she may hunt you at night if you diss her…. lol
