I genuinely thought he’d develop dementia and go chase random children thus repeating the cycle
The lamb with the thorns, the foot trampling the serpent and even the hand with the hole in the end all alluding to Christian theology very interesting.

Even though I tried to not get attached to the characters it hit hard when the girl died but in the end, you have to live to feel and feel to live.
