Too bad that South Korea is done for. Their unique economical environment made it so, that nobody wants to have children anymore. So, each couple only has 0.73 children. Between 2050 and 2060 the country will have a total economical, social, and cultural collapse.
Not enough young people to sustain traditions, not enough workers to sustain the elderly. In 2060 each worker would have to support more than one pensioner. It’s been said that the maximum one can do is one pensioner for two workers.
By the way: 0.73 means the population more than halves each generation. More like it bit more than 1/3. That means 1000 people of one generation will only have 365 children. Which then only will have 133, and those will only have 48. That means within 4 (3?) generations you’ve gone from 1000 people to 48.
