“We got 2 phones. They both blew up and caused damage. We payed attention to even the smallest of articles that were on the same subject. With all the blown up phones, and with Saesung’s past failure added to the mix, there was a very high likelihood of the phone being discontinued. We chose to bet on that logical assessment and it banked. That’s all there is to it investigator-kuns.”
All they’d have to do is say what I stated here and no problems woudld follow. They’re really not in any kind of tricky situation (or, ANY situation, for that matter😅).

I don’t know if it’s the author or the translator, but that footnote description of Longs and Shorts isn’t strictly accurate. You can both buy and sell Long and Short.
Buying Long could take the form of buying Call options, since you’re expecting the stock price to rise. Buying Short means buying Put options, with the expectation that the price will fall.
Selling Long means selling Put options, expecting the stock price to rise. Selling Short means selling Call options, expecting the price to fall.
