This is a WAY to flashy (and risky) way to go about things. All he should have done was confirm that he had considered making a deposit, and then decided not to. When asked “Why?”, the response is the classic: “I’m sorry, but following the advice of counsel, I cannot comment further.” Let the sharks go after the blood.
