I just want to shoutout to Autumn and the art crew. Usually, artists don’t vary the costumes which means you have to suspend disbelief that people only have one set of clothes (even in medieval Europe, all but the poorest had 1 workday set and one Sunday worship set). In twelve chapters I’ve seen about 8 dresses and now that sword practice suit. It’s a lot of extra work around the usual deadline pressure, but this weeb thinks it’s worth it and is sincerely grateful.

Also making the crown prince into the emperor is hardly a difficult task.
From the summary I thought she was going to make some random noble into the emperor or her brother for that matter. Anti-climatic.
