I only feel sorry for the woman. She really was a kindhearted human…BUT…she didn’t do anything after finding out the information. She MIGHT have lived had she come forward and turned in her mother and husband. She did not so this is the direct consequence of her own choice.
Even though they were not completely involved the had a part in that sin.no human is completely inocent not completely guilty. A criminal might be a really good parent or child however that does not forgive their sins. That is despair of humankind. I like how the author made the choice of not forgiving them at the same time made us feel the depth of the characters, showcasing the sadness and rage mc had to face while enacting his revenge. Tough satisfied he will not feel happiness. Except killing the mother in law of course.
