OH OH maybe what author is doing for metaphorical headless than literal headless, something about how he can’t think for himself or something idk
I feel like that English teacher trying to interpret why the curtains were blue while the author was like “the curtains f**king blue that’s it” 😂

he might still be able to remove his head, but he isn’t riding a horse either. Maybe the author is going for a technicality that Dullahan has a literal meaning that’s “descendant of [the] Dubhlachán”, other than the headless horserider myth. OR could just be a reimagination of Dullahan by the author. Like how some attempt to redesign goblins and dragons. But idk how I feel about messing with actual myths and legends, might upset native people, Irish people could share their thoughts on that.
