I love how three-dimensional and detailed the characters are in this work (besides the in-game NPC/monsters, of course).
They react so realistically!
I laughed so hard when everyone showing up at the respawn point had that same response, you could just picture it happening so well.
It’s like the author wanted to make sure none of us readers ever had to strain our suspension of disbelief…. I only remember how silly these things can get when I read other works and come back to compare.
