You mean tested one of the first believers of that time, and made sure that he stopped before any harm was done to his child, and the sole purpose was to test if he really was faithful, as a child had been one of his biggest dreams of his long lifetime and giving that up showed how strong his faith was?

Beautiful, I could comment on the quip about gods but this is a book and I don’t feel like writing a Christian theological essay on a manga, no matter its immense quality. I will say if you’ve ever read the bible you can get a bit of irony out of the last bit if you draw a connection. But maybe I’m just sauced out of my mind and spewing BS, TFTC, may we have another.
