Damn, I wanted to give the series a fair chance by reading this chapter, but holy shit. This chapter doubled down on the racism of last chapter, cooked up a justification for the racism, and threw in “justified” war crimes on top of it. Radioactive poisoning is an unnecessarily cruel way to kill any living creature, especially when you’re as powerful as Leonhart.
He could use this opportunity to train his soldiers-to-be actual combat against other humanoids, but instead he chose crimes against humanity. I guess you can find racist authors everywhere, but for this to be celebrated in a popular manwha speaks volumes as to how accepted racism in Korea is.
It’s been an enjoyable, albeit short, ride. Enjoy your war crimes, guys.
