This manwha continually amazes me. Rather than depicting good/evil in terms of typical cliches of “human rights”, it justifies skinning tribesmen. It could have made the grail knight an evil baddie that skins the poor oppressed tribesmen, but instead there is actually a rational reason to skin them.

It reminds me of warhammer 40k where there are many things you think the Imperium does that seem evil, but a lot of it becomes excusable when you realize what they’re up against. The same is true for the MC in this manwha, and the many drastic actions he takes.

I don’t understand in what context you are using this statement for. They are demons, so on the grail knights side it makes perfect sense, and the barbarians weren’t the ones who started the war, so can you elaborate?
