Grail knights returned to their peak condition once they recieved the blessing of the Goddess. Zerea’s peak condition was when he got recognized by the goddess and it was enough for him but the goddess was so moved by his efforts that she granted him a power that trancends human logic of aging and death because she wants someone to fully appreciates and recognize Zerea’s efforts and achievements, and the only person that fits that condition is his younger self that suffered all those hardship while being told to give up. Even though they are only manifested as a part of a divine law, they saw that all Zerea’s efforts, their efforts aren’t in vain. Glory to the Lion Heart
