They really need to stop drawing characters so unidimensionally good and evil. Not for one second I thought the fair blonde girl with a regal appearance was the traitor. So the suspense they made with this chapter was 0 for me. I also know for a certain that neither MC nor the other guy are dying from this ambush. And MC most likely already figured out this guy was lying and is just waiting for him to betray him for one reason or another that can be summarized into MC needs to look cool.
