The way the protagonist looked at the hooded figure, and the suggestions from the dragon all imply the lazy swordsman is capable of knowing this is the dark sorcerer who’s been going around killing people.
Since he’s so obsessed with food and drink, you’d think he’d at least do something to protect the guy who gave him the meal this entire chapter’s been about.
