The story’s becoming more generic, and I think one of the bigger reasons is that the mc isn’t really fighting his role of being a hero anymore. Tbf it is character growth as he is becoming more honourable, but now without that aspect of not wanting to be a hero you’re just left with op sword hero kills everything. Hopefully an enemy pops up that he doesn’t instantly kill.
