Yep. As is the norm in “black” companies, or places where the managers are all ego, no brains, or worse have no experience actually working “the front lines,” they just consider the people they’re dumping those demands on as “lazy” for balking at their nonsense.
It’s only when they’re forced to handle those demands themselves that it finally registers, but by then, they’ve pretty much permanently alienated everyone who has the skills and toolset to straighten out the mess they’ve made.
