So what? Character development can take a backseat to story development, because it’s more important right now.
Character development for secondary characters…lol…he isn’t important enough for that, plus we already know his backstory with his brother. His CD will probably be when he interacts with his brother.
the concept is literally “trade everything with other dimensions” so yeah, ofc he can pull something like that…

I’m not dropping it but you are right, shame the author is trying to rush the power creep rather than creating interesting allies for the MC.
That’s usually a problem with regressors that the author makes too OP in little time, no stated character can follow the peace with them and are left behind super quickly.
I’m hoping it’s gonna be a double edged sword.
