MC became a monster (due to the dragon’s magicite), the prince is becoming a monster (due to peer pressure & MC), they both need to develop into a more refine character.
Sadly for the most part, the prince will only serve as a fodder in this manga for MC to step into the limelight.
He’s not wrong you want change for the better? better get used to cleaning the guillotines after use. Can’t just run away and talk the merchants out of the church, you have to get dirty and beat them out. But I’m sure Talk no Jutsu will win the day somehow and a TL:DR will stop the “evils” of the world.

In case of any of you didn’t know how lungs work: Even a tiny hole (not to speak of that big one) in the chest cavity will cause the lungs to collapse. Aka a pneumothorax.

Which does make it impossible to breathe. She would try, but without effect. Mouth open, the chest expanding and contracting rapidly, but no air entering. Suffocating while desperately trying to breathe.
