The Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess and the Genius Young Lady - Chapter 43

I think like this arc was done very poorly. If you consider her character, it makes no sense for her to be even the least bit concerned about “losing her place” much less for her to overreact to this degree. Rather, would she not be more concerned about another person shouldering burdens in her place? She just has her brother try and commit double suicide with her over the fact that she had dumped her burdens on him, burdens that he felt she was better suited to carry. Now that someone comes along and says that they will assume the role her brother just vacated, her instinctual reaction is ‘Actually, these burdens are great and the only thing that makes me whole, despite the fact that not only did I get them back only a few chapters ago, but they make everyone who shoulders them miserable!’ She’s obviously not one to think of herself in this situation, rather her first thought should be, “oh no, now Euphie is sacrificing herself for me, just like I forced Al to!”
I do understand that the author was, in a sense, trying to give Anis some character flaws in order to show her growth, but rather than addressing her preexisting character flaws, (Her inherent tendency to sacrifice herself in contrast with her own wishes, or her failure to recognize the weaknesses of others) they create an entirely new character flaw only to resolve it the very next chapter.
