How to make the next battle of MC (seemingly) more epic (lazy version):

  1. Establish a new character.
  2. Credit him with similar achievements as MC.
  3. Establish (through a short dialog) that new character (NC) is, at least, as powerful as MC.
  4. Have NC fight the villain group.
  5. Have NC lose at a character established (dialog again) as one of the weaker ones.
  6. MC fights next battle with that group and wins. Each one is good, all at once are better. But no matter what it’ll seem more epic than without step 1-5.
