You know… Davy didn’t just “manipulate” the public opinion in the manhwa, but also ours.
At the starts she was just an annoyance, we did not really care about her and were like “just put her in place and that’s it”, but now, even us the readers wish for her to fall… to beg… and for Davy to say “f*ck you b*tch, I have terms”.
Also Davy is in fact the villain here. Wait. Just think about it.
He already dealt with Skeletor and made him into his b*tch or in better words: The lich is just a skeleton of his former self (punintended :D), but he still attacks humans. That is to ramp up the casualty numbers in order for him to save lives and deal with the quest he received (save 20000 lives).
Not to mention that making Alice and the prince take the blunt of the negativity from the people is also just a nicely orchestrated situation by him.
He made the people and even us the readers to hate them even though they were just arrogant and incompetent.
And the fun part? That we still root for Davy, because his cause is righteous.
