they could just follow the Bhadigadi rules….
to show up… and beat up every single contestant in line at the same time… so they become the automatic winner since there is NOBODY left to compete.

The story is trying to write the female noble in a good light. Don’t forget she begged her older brother to interfere with the training exams because of the protagonist’s “dirty tricks.” This manipulation then resulted in the original examiner (the middle-aged guy with a dream) to get beaten to a pulp.
