Yet, despite all this: at the faculty meeting in chapter 39, the teachers specifically told the headmaster they were going to give Alma Gervais and the rest of room 402 special training and “make them leave” (exact translated words).
No wonder the MC is strong, this is a crazy world of kaiju scorpions. It’s a wonder anyone is alive.

I’m sure the headmaster is just a dirty old man who set up the whole attack in an attempt to obtain Alma for himself, or a family member. And absorb the “debt” for that reason. Or the scorpion was their mistake and he’s managing witnesses.
There’s no way a man runs a school that corrupt and is not corrupt himself.
