This story will go one of two ways.
She will either diverge off of the original story…
Or she will try and yet things will line up, leading to a different ending. Imagine that she gets bullied and slips back into sounding like how she did, and her words made others think her personality was still the same. Maybe events like that would happen over and over again, coincidences making everyone think she should be assassinated when she’s actually a good queen
And then protag and Bro-in-law are sent to kill her, and she either talks them out of it, since they would have been pressured into doing what they were about to do, or maybe she fakes her death.
