the slash nullification is probs bc swords are built to slash, thats why theyre so long and i heard that swords werent rlly meant for stabbing since instead of focusing on only the TIP to stab, it was much more practical to slash using the WHOLE sword. So in short hes only immune to slashes bc thats what swords are meant for, but not to all attacks
