for whatever his reason is, for the life of me I cannot think of any excuse other than VERY bad choice of words, when Leon decided to say “I trust Noel more than you” at that moment.
he could say “you’re not calm right now, so I’m scared of losing you, Kaim. No matter the test is, if there’s a high risk of losing my party member because of it, I don’t think I can do it…”. But instead, he dropped that nuclear bomb at point-blank range at Kaim.
I feel like Leon’s weakness is that he’s not used to being confronted, so his replies are not as refined/filtered…? (judging by how he poorly handles Noel’s insults back at the bar, and now handling Kaim’s panicking)
