Their advancement is a little ridiculous, the majority of early firearms exploded on use for quite some time, there were even hand cannons, it just that most of the time, when you fired it, you exploded. Sometimes when reading something good like this, you have to remember that even though it has been good and immersive thus far, it is fantasy.
I always play Age of Empires at Easy level because I’m suck.

So if the mages do successfully make their godless nation, then maybe they will combine science and magic? If they combine magic and science, then I can see Nabula taking advantage of the magic, science, weapons thingies, and it actually may be one of his goals to.

Yeah. Nobody likes Fence sitters. You belive you can gain profit and help from both sides, but in the end the only thing you earn is distrust.
So krumpus really made a good move not bad as he will still go down however that country will not fall into nebulas hands but instead be a neutral nation that stands against gods

Huh, ar first i though Oooooooh Napoleonic era Cannons and Muskets? Hand cannons ehhhhhhh with that level of accuracy. Doubt it.
I will just assume the guns are rifled as well. Probably to increase fire rate they have invented paper cartridge too.
At this point its a Napoleonic era army vs Medieval
For those curios. Napoleonic era cannons can reach 600-800m 1km with elevation. Probably they will place them on top of castles. Are they accurate? Enough for army formations but since this is fantasy they could probably snipe enemy leaders from 10km away.
For the muskets. One of the key limiting factor of mass guns adoption is cost and production of gun powder. Since the MC is Insect god obtaining a lot of the key components would be easy to come by. So i guess its possible.
For the handcannons Assuming its Korean Hand cannons, normally they can shoot 200m-300m for hand held ones and +600m for big tripod ones. SInce lizardmen are big i will assume its the large variant. Also just treat them as rifled muskets than can shoot 10km distance as well.
For cool factor i could see some lizardmen just picking up cannon balls and throwing them with brute force.
