I respectfully disagree with the comments about the broken characters or plot. Both successors have literal divine intervention on their side. Instead of spawning a Deus Ex tiger in a last-minute ditch, MC’s rival could have used his resources better.
MC turtles his way to victory and uses his direct means to keep others in check until he gains an advantage or accomplishes an objective.
Demonic entity are ennemies of gods. How will MC solve this ?

I know the brothers and assholes but I feel kind of bad for them. At least the eldest (the one in this chapter) isn’t stupid. He tried every tactic he could but his opponent is just overpowered as shit. I would understand if he would ragequit after doing everything he could do with his power

they learned from christianity that there is the Good God, and the Bad Demons. Because miracles come from divinity then magic was not on the saint side and they decided that the opposite of “divinity” is “demonic”.
Because of a misunderstanding of what magic is and because the 3 religions of the desert (jews, christianity, muslim) wanted to monopolize magic for their own rituals/beliefs, now we have this huge misunderstanding about magic being evil and/or coming from evil beings….. which is just plain stupid.
