Fire dude even where I am in the story is still my second favorite character and if mc wasn’t the one who was always there it would be him
Key notes for this arc:
• fire god is just chill like that, he accepts defeat like a champ w man.
• Goblin assassins are absolutely amazing and kinda cute.
• MC is playing 3D chess while all these other people are playing checkers
I absolutely this part of a series like this the way both the gods isn’t so one dimensional so the “only” way is to just have their tribes immediately fight each other but instead they fight politically in another way I also love this flame guy I hope his tribe keeps around a good long while 
I can respect the fire god guy accepting defeat. W mentality

Hm. I mean I can kind of see how it worked out but it came down to plot armor. Which is not all too weird in this setting but I wonder why the flame dude wasn’t able to do anything actually dangerous. The sabertooth tiger was an inconvenience at best
