Why are they talking about the concept of Mages when one has yet to present itself? Its like naming the explosives powder “gunpowder” before the existence or even the notion of a gun. The character keeps talking in terms as if they have the same knowledge as a god/player. Either the TL is failing big time or the author is failing in keeping a cohesive story.
