Hiw does a potential 44% extra damage help him at all? Compared to someone who has trained all her life. Like, 44% extra damage to 1 damage, is still just 1.44, so how’s he winning against someone who naturally does 10. And potentially getting 10% instead of 44% wouldn’t mean he would then lose half of all his battles. Since it’s still 1.1 vs 10. Though it all depends on who’s he’s facing, because he could just get lucky and fight a guy who only does 0.5 damage naturally. So at that point the percentage increase doesn’t even matter anyway.

yeah so we all know that nayun basically has a crush on hajin at this point. it basically happens from this point on to the end of the academy arc. “why not after the academy arc?” you say? welllllll hajin kiinddaaaa kills nayuns brother for harboring a world ending catastrophe within himself (he didnt want to, nayun didnt know at the time) so nayun throws a little hissy fit and as a result cries, becomes a chainsmoker, emo, and depressed. so for anyone who still has hope for hajin x nayun, uh in summary the entire story just says, “Up yours.” (there is a side story with hajin x nayun but its not canon since it happens in an alternate dimension)
